Franklin County Fair for us

Yeah--we got to sell our sheep.
The girls did awesome at showing them (especially for first timers) and got
blue ribbons in all their events.

Lillian also chose to do sewing 4-h and had a lot of fun with her group.  Here
is her modeling her skirt--another blue ribbon and on to State.
She was also in charge of refreshments for their fashion show.  Lillian had the girls come and make Jungle cakes to go with the theme for their group.
Lillian made this one

State Fair was quite a day.  We didn't have cash and when Jeff thought he knew the password on our accounts and tried it a few times sure he knew it--we got locked out of all our  bank accounts--so we could not get any cash--a lot longer of a funny story that at the time was anything, but funny.  Luckily we had two tickets for Lillian and Mom to go in and do her Sheep Presentation speech and check out her skirt.  Another blue ribbon on the skirt and a disqualification for lack of time on her speech--she was so nervous that she forgot the whole ending of presentation that was almost a minute long.  She was happy to just be done.  Then the day was spent visiting old friends and driving by the old house.  See trials do become blessings.  We couldn't pay to get into fair and waste time wandering around, so we got more fun visiting friends we miss so much--hope you enjoyed us too.  No pictures to go with this fun day.
