More Yuck.
The City Sewer backed up into our basement.
Just a few pictures of the aftermath. It was a very unpleasant Sunday evening when the City sewer backed up into our basement. Luckily the city's insurance covered and we got new carpet. I don't recommend going this route to get new anything though. Half the kids were in our room on the floor and our computer became the main source of TV-entertainment as we didn't want to go in basement until all was cleaned up and replaced--this was just under a month. As a side note the computer crashed right before going to stay with mom and dad--they did say it was not because of overuse--but who knows. It was fun getting to stay with grandpa and grandma Jensen for a few days when they replaced the carpet upstairs (we spilled the mess on stair carpet and because it met with upstairs the insurance covered for new upstairs living room too). Thanks for all who helped in taking care of us through this unpleasant blessing.
