When the spirt speaks--JUMP!

Sorry that the posts seemed to stop as soon as they started...Life moved fast for us in a short time.  Jeff and all of us were getting a lot tired of the "ON CALL 24/7" job and thought it wouldn't hurt to see if we might find anything closer to family.  Well there was one job in Hyde Park, UT that looked just right for our family and we thought we would take a chance.  The resume was sent and only Jeff and I, Heidi, knew all the details of what we were doing as we figured nothing would probably come of it.  We really thought this as time passed with no real word on what was going on.  Then after many prayers and thought we finally said if it is right let us know now or close the doors so we can move on with the "ON CALL 24/7" life.  Then Jeff went in for anoher interview and was told we may know sometime in the next week.  I prayed being a bit discouraged saying "I need to know now not in a week... I want to move on to what is next in life...even if it is the same with no change".  Shortly after I took a nap (I had not been sleeping well with so many things going through my mind--and Emily was having some rough times with getting sick from her lowered immune system due to new medications), I got a call from the boss of the company in Hyde Park.  He needed to get a hold of Jeff to offer him the job.  It was something that fell into place so quickly with little trouble that within two weeks we were moved.  We got the job offer on January 7th.  Jeff started his new job on January 17th while I stayed back with the kids to pack with many great neighbors and ward members. Jeff then returned on January 21st to help with the last minutes and we were on our way with a loaded moving truck on Saturday January 22nd.  The move was a little crazy..  As we moved into Jeff's parents home while they finish up their LDS mission in Salt Lake and while we try to sell our home in Blackfoot.  I think we are manageing with only a few "OOPS I needed that" and a trip to the storage.  We have learned many things through this move so far and am sure we will learn many more--but the one that strikes me most is....If we will JUMP even without full understanding when the Lord answers our prayers things do fall into place--even if we have to look back to see it fully.

Christmas went in a flash--Happy New Year!

snowmen and santas for the neighbors--I had busy little elves

 Well Christmas came and went so fast, but it brought lots of fun and smiles.  We then brought in the new year with chinese food, a cowboy roundup, and a movie--since we were all sore from flu shots.  We did stay up to bring in the true new year--then we slept in this morning.  Hope everyone else enjoyed as much as us.

Rewind

I hope that all of you think the following statements are true. Otherwise you may not think to highly of my attempt to become a blogger
*  Better late than never
*  It is the thought that counts
*  Something is better than nothing
All my posts will either be too long and boring or so short it will hardly be worth your time to look, but hopefully pictures will speak louder than words and you will just enjoy watching our family grow as much as I do.
I am hoping that this blog will allow you to witness our woes and wonders and be reminded that with every adversity comes great blessings.  May this help me to count my blessings more fully.
I will start you out with a picture review of 2010 and then we can start the new year off--a little later...
